Real estate agents have one thing less of than time: patience for bad software. AI tools that actually save you an hour a day are worth their weight in commission checks.
I tested 20+ tools against real agent workflows — listing copy, lead follow-up, market analysis, meeting notes. These are the ones that earned a spot in my stack.
Jasper AI — Best for Content
Jasper writes listing descriptions, social media posts, and email sequences that sound like a human wrote them. Not a robot who read a thesaurus.
What works: the “Brand Voice” feature lets you train it on your past listings so everything sounds consistent. New agents can go from blank screen to a finished listing in 3 minutes.
What doesn’t: it’s overkill if all you need is the occasional caption. The $49/mo starter plan makes sense only if you’re publishing 10+ pieces a week.
Copy.ai — Best Value
Copy.ai handles the same job as Jasper at half the price. $36/mo gets you unlimited words and a real estate-specific template library.
The “list your home” workflow is surprisingly good — answer 5 questions about a property and it spits out MLS copy, Instagram captions, and a flyer description in one shot.
Where it falls short: the output needs more editing than Jasper. Plan on 5 minutes of polish per piece instead of 2.
Otter.ai — Best for Meeting Notes
Every conversation with a buyer, seller, or lender generates action items you’ll forget by lunch. Otter.ai transcribes calls and meetings in real time, then generates summaries and to-do lists.
Real estate-specific use: record your buyer consultation calls. Otter tags who said what and highlights price ranges, must-haves, and dealbreakers automatically. Pull those into your CRM instead of scribbling notes on a legal pad.
$16.99/mo for Pro. The ROI hits in week one.
Follow Up Boss — Best CRM
Follow Up Boss isn’t strictly an AI tool, but its lead routing and automation features make it the smartest CRM I’ve seen for agents. It auto-assigns leads, schedules follow-ups, and tracks every touchpoint.
The AI angle: it integrates with the tools above. Otter notes feed into FUB contact records. Jasper content gets scheduled into your email sequences. It’s the glue.
Pricey at $69/mo, but teams split across 3+ agents get their money back in saved admin time within 60 days.
Notion AI — Best for Organizing Your Business
Notion with AI is a second brain for your real estate business. Use it to track deals, store listing templates, maintain a client contact database with notes, and generate weekly market reports — all in one place.
The AI writes your status updates, summarizes deal notes, and drafts client emails inside the same tool you’re already using to organize your deals.
$10/mo per member on top of your Notion plan. Worth it if you’re already a Notion user.
The Stack I’d Recommend for a Solo Agent
- Listing copy & social: Copy.ai ($36/mo)
- Meeting notes: Otter.ai ($16.99/mo)
- CRM: Follow Up Boss ($69/mo)
- Organization: Notion (free tier, AI addon optional)
Total: ~$122/mo. If that saves you 5 hours a month, your hourly rate just went up by whatever you bill.
